Grow Me

Awesome people can be even more awesome.      Be the best that you can be.

Take three minutes a day

You are amazing and it’s time to recognise the amazingness in us all.

Growing the positives in your life can be as simple as working on your ‘Happy Smile’ – a process that changes the neural patterns in the brain. Think of something that makes you smile – make sure your lips are smiling:) and do it for thirty seconds, six times a day.

Results happen when we’re accountable so that’s where I come in. Imagine the positive outcomes of being the best that you can be!!

That means being aware of what’s affecting you at home and at work and having the tools to adapt quickly. I’m passionate about life long learning and love to show people how to make a smooth transition into successful practises, balancing work and wellbeing with achievement.

Master stress, one step at a time.

Is it time for a 'Self Audit'?

Stop for a moment and think about what it is you want to achieve.

Whether you’re unhappy in your career and looking for a change, or perfectly comfortable where you are, everyone should self-audit at least once a year.” says Career Coach Belinda Jackson.”

It’s not just your skill set that affects your success so let’s take a look at the big picture from the other perspective. What is i t that’s holding you back? We all have a story we tell ourselves to keep us small and out of the firing line. It usually begins with, ‘I can’t (do this) because.’ or ‘That’s not for me because.’ We can justify anything if we work at it but what your story is doing, is seriously limiting your growth. Our perception covers up the holes with the ‘I can’ts, the it’s not the right time now.’ and

Stop feeling Guilty

A very insightful seminar with WIMWA (Women in Mining), led by IGO asked women to consider what they would start doing, continue doing and stop doing to improve their work life balance. A number of women said that they wanted to stop feeling guilty. Feeling guilty about what you might wonder?

Feeling guilty that you’re late again and don’t manage to be there at bath time or you’ve had to ask a friend yet again to have the kids after work.

Feeling guilty because the house is messy, the dinner is late, you’ve run out of something your really needed for dinner or you’ve forgotten about sports day/ carnival/ book week … The list goes on.

Feeling guilty that you’re not giving your all at work when you take time off to look after a sick child or you’ve had a sleepless night.

Not being the perfect lover, the perfect wife, the perfect mother, the perfect everything can get you down if you let it.

But wait a minute. Who’s standards are you using to judge yourself by? It’s all about perception.
What you think is what you get

Doing all the things that you take for granted is amazing and awesome!! So keep doing what you’re doing and start believing in yourself.
